I am a professional rider based at Model Cottage in Cheshire, where I am fortunate to have access to outstanding facilities for producing and training horses.

 

I have competed successfully at international show jumping level throughout Europe, riding both my own horses and those owned by clients. Throughout my career, I have trained with some of the world’s top international riders, including Eric van der Vleuten and Ben Maher. At just 16 years old, I was a stable jockey for John Whitaker, and my long-standing trainer and mentor is Gisela Holstein, an FEI Grade 1 Listed Judge.

 

Before specialising in show jumping at the age of 13, I competed very successfully in showing and working hunter classes at the highest level. Career highlights from this period include qualifying my 12.2hh Connemara pony for the Horse of the Year Show and being crowned Breed Champion.

In 2008, I became the youngest person at the time to achieve the UKCC Level 2 BSJA Coaching Certificate. I thoroughly enjoy coaching and developing enthusiastic riders from novice through to advanced level, drawing on my extensive experience in competition and training.

I

n recent years, my international show jumping career took a temporary step back due to starting a family with my partner and the impact of Covid. In 2023 I returned to international competition within the UK. Alongside this, I have enjoyed producing a wide variety of horses and have had success across all three disciplines.

 

I have a clear understanding of the commitment, dedication, and hard work required to compete and win at the highest level, and I firmly believe I have the talent, experience, and drive to continue succeeding in the sport.
